An open letter to our valued In2Vapes customers and community:
My name is Luigi Saullo, GM here at In2Vapes. As a vaper myself for the better part of 7 years, e-cigarettes have helped me quit a 2 pack a day habit since day one, and I personally have not looked back since. The success stories through our 5 years of business at In2Vapes have been astounding to say the least. From our great staff, to you, our valued patrons, the continued success stories on your cigarette-free journey are what keep us in this business and allow us to continue to help new smokers daily.
As this industry continues to grow over the years, we know that there is conflicting information that may seem confusing to you, and we wanted to take this time to discuss the straight facts of what you or those close to you may be hearing in the media.
Public health units world wide are beginning to conclude that using e-cigarettes as a smoking cessation tool has been proven to be 95% safer than cigarette use. Let us be the first to say that our staff will always tell you, nothing is better than inhaling nothing at all. Recent news outlets have made recent reports linking e-cigarettes/vaping to 450+ cases of lung disease, death and hospitalization. The issue with the endless Facebook post shares, quick news bursts and the like is that this manufactured news does not portray the whole story. As progress has been made in our industry, from welcome regulation and standardized production processes, only until recent has within a short period of time (few weeks), in a specific geographic region (e-cigarettes are available worldwide, not only in the US) and in a specific age group (adolescents or young adults) there are cases of severe, acute respiratory dysfunction that has resulted in 2 deaths and several hospitalizations. Now what does this tell us?
The travesty between our society and our news outlets is that we trust headlines to dictate our complete opinion on these topics without all the complete facts, and take it all as true. In actuality, the illnesses recently discovered in the United States are linked to illicit THC and CBD cartridges. Though yes, these products are being vaporized, they are in no way an e-cigarette as what we sell at In2Vapes. These illegal cartridges are being tested by many state health departments as you read this article.
